WHERE WE TREK
Our territory spans the rugged expanses of the Colne and Holme Valleys of Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. We intentionally select routes that offer varied terrain, mental stimulation, and physical engagement—taking the pack far away from the distractions of urban environments and deep into the open country.
HOW WE OPERATE
Structure is the foundation of every trail experience. We strictly limit our pack numbers to ensure total control, focused engagement, and individual safety on our open moorland.
Every dog undergoes a meticulous integration process to maintain absolute pack harmony. From active land navigation and weather monitoring out on the peaks, to ensuring every dog is returned thoroughly cleaned, dried, and relaxed to your doorstep—our standards are uncompromising. We combine raw adventure with a professional, premium service.

Hi, I’m Billy, the founder of Valley Trails. My life has always been shaped by these moorlands. From growing up and exploring the Colne and Holme Valleys, to being a Countryside Ranger, I developed a deep respect for the wild West Yorkshire terrain and the unique way a dog connects with the open country.
Valley Trails was born directly from that bond, inspired daily by my own dogs, JJ, Bagel, Gus, Bella & Batman. I wanted to build a service that wasn't just about convenience, but about true canine fulfillment wrapped up in a bespoke premium package.
When your dog joins us, they aren't just getting a walk; they are joining a properly managed, highly structured, professional trek led by someone who knows these hills by heart. We combine a lifelong passion for the countryside with professional pack dynamics, ensuring every journey is as safe as it is adventurous.
